Senior Project Designer

Role Summary

This is a mid- to upper-level design role for a highly skilled professional with advanced 3D modelling, visualization expertise and growing leadership capabilities.

The Designer / Senior Designer will work closely with the senior staff to translate initial hand-drawn sketches into precise, compelling design models and visualizations.

This role involves delivering high-quality outputs that reflect the studio’s design standards and contributing to the refinement of concept ideas into mature, buildable solutions.

• Translate hand-drawn sketches and reference imagery into precise, well-organized 3D models.
• Deliver high-quality 3D design outputs in alignment with studio standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior staff to evolve initial concept sketches into fully resolved design solutions.
• Design Development & Coordination
• Produce compelling design visualizations using 3d rendering software and AI tools.
• Integrate architectural and urban design principles into models and presentations.
• Assist in preparing diagrams, reports, and presentation materials for internal and external use.

• Software Expertise – Mastery of Sketch Up and Inscape; strong proficiency in Rhino (Grasshopper a plus).
• Visualization Workflow – Excellent modelling skills from concept through to presentation.
• Design Translation – Skilled at interpreting and developing designs from hand-drawn sketches and reference imagery.
• AI Tools – Familiarity with Midjourney, Runway, or similar image generation tools is a plus.
• Graphic Design – Competent in Adobe Creative Suite or Affinity for diagrams and reports.
• Professionalism – Detail-oriented, independent, and clear in both written and verbal communication.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or a related design field (Master’s preferred).
• 5–10 years’ relevant professional experience, with a focus on early-stage design and visualization.
• Demonstrated experience in urban-scale and facade design projects.
