Interior Designer

We are seeking a confident, client-facing Midweight Interior Designer to join our growing workplace design studio. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious designer who is keen to develop into a Senior Creative role.

The successful candidate will be heavily involved in concept development, pitching, and client presentations, working closely with senior designers and project teams to deliver innovative workplace environments.

Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to present design ideas clearly and professionally to clients.

In this fast-paced studio environment, responsibilities will include:

• Attending and contributing to client meetings and presentations.
• Building strong, professional relationships with clients.
• Understanding and interpreting client briefs and workplace requirements.
• Producing creative space plans and concept designs.
• Supporting pitch development and proposal creation.
• Preparing mood boards, storyboards, visuals, and presentation materials.
• Confidently presenting concepts to clients alongside senior team members.
• Assisting with site surveys and spatial analysis.
• Developing designs in line with budget, programme, and brand guidelines.
• Coordinating with project managers, technical teams, and contractors.
• Supporting the delivery of technical drawing packages.
• Assisting in managing design changes and revisions.
• Participating in site visits and design reviews.
• Contributing to studio knowledge sharing and best practice.
• Staying informed on workplace trends, materials, and products.

• 3–6 years’ experience in commercial workplace or interior design.
• Proven client-facing experience.
• Strong verbal and visual presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and communicate design concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Revit and Enscape experience beneficial.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
• Ambition to progress into a senior design role.
• Relevant degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

All shortlisted candidates must prepare a 5–10 minute presentation on a previous design project, covering:

• Client brief
• Final outcome
• Personal contribution
• This will form a key part of the interview process.
