Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), and civil drawings to avoid clashes
- Create detailed 2D and 3D architectural drawings using software like AutoCAD, BIM is optional & prefer.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and reflected ceiling plans based on architect's sketches and concepts.
- Create detailed shop drawings for joinery, doors, windows, partitions, false ceilings, and staircases.
- Ensure openings, shafts, and blackouts are correctly shown for MEP and structural works.
- Maintain version control and revision history (e.g., Revision A, B, C - Issued for Construction, As-Built).
- AutoCAD (advanced level) - layers, blocks, x-refs, layouts, dynamic blocks, paper space/model space.
- Understanding of architectural drawings - floor plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules.
- Knowledge of Dubai Municipality Code, Civil Defense requirements, DEWA regulations.
- Ability to understand architect instructions and clarify doubts.
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other draftsmen.
- Handling multiple revision cycles and last‑minute changes.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture with 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD.
