Joinery Draughtsman

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation layouts for all types of joinery and interior fit-out works (furniture, wall panels, wardrobes, doors, counters, decorative elements, etc.).
• Translate architectural and interior design drawings into precise joinery details that are practical for fabrication and installation.
• Ensure all drawings meet project specifications, standards, and material details including finishes, hardware, and fixing methods.
• Coordinate with design, production, and site teams to confirm dimensions, finishes, and construction feasibility.
• Conduct site visits and measurements, update as‑built drawings, and verify on‑site conditions.
• Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, consultant comments, or site changes.
• Prepare cutting lists, BOQs, and provide technical support to the production department.
• Maintain organized drawing records, manage version control, and ensure timely delivery of drawings per project schedule.
• Identify and resolve potential technical or design discrepancies before production.
• Assist in developing standard joinery detail libraries and CAD templates to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to confirm material selections and compatibility.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of proven experience as a Joinery Draftsman within the Joinery industry (UAE / GCC experience preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit, Sketch Up, or 3ds Max is an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of joinery construction methods, materials, finishes, and hardware (MDF, veneer, laminate, solid wood, PU, etc.).
• Solid understanding of architectural/interior drawings, fabrication processes, and site coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience with high‑end residential villa / renovations.
• Familiarity with UAE joinery and fit‑out standards and material sourcing practices.
• Capable of identifying and implementing value‑engineered design solutions.
• Knowledge of 3D visualization or rendering software (an advantage).
• Ability to supervise or guide junior draftsmen when required.

• Quality and precision of shop/fabrication drawings.
• Timely submission of drawing packages.
• Reduction in rework or fabrication errors.
• Positive coordination with design, production, and site teams.
• Adherence to project schedules and quality standards.

Primarily site based – 8-5 Monday to Saturday (flexible). Collaboration across design, production, and site teams in a deadline‑driven environment.
