The Graduate - Interior Design will support the Interior Design team in delivering high-quality design solutions across various project stages, including concept development, design documentation, and site coordination.
The role involves assisting senior designers and project teams to ensure timely, accurate, and quality-driven project deliverables in line with company standards.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesConcept & Design Support
- Assist in the development of design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials
- Support the preparation of layout drawings and basic design documentation
- Conduct research on materials, finishes, and FF&E under supervision
- Assist in preparing sample boards and material selections
Project Coordination & Documentation
- Support senior designers in preparing drawings and construction documentation
- Incorporate feedback and update drawings as required
- Coordinate with internal disciplines and suppliers when necessary
- Participate in project meetings and assist with documentation and follow-ups
Professional Development
- Remain informed of current design trends, materials, and industry practices
- Attend site visits to gain exposure to project execution and coordination
- Continuously develop technical and creative skills through mentorship and project involvement
- Creative thinking with strong design interest
- Basic understanding of space planning and detailing principles
- Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team - Professional approach with a willingness to learn and grow
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related discipline
- 0–1 year of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Basic understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and material selection
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or similar design software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, professional attitude
