Junior-Mid Level Designers

At X-Architects, we don’t just design buildings, we shape narratives rooted in land, culture, and context. From archaeological hubs and cultural institutions to large-scale masterplans and experimental typologies, our work challenges conventions and pushes young designers to think critically and creatively.

We’re looking for Junior and Mid-Level Architects who are curious, driven, and ready to engage deeply in the design process. Not just execute it.

What You’ll Be Part Of

• Work on Internationally significant and globally relevant projects across the UAE, GCC, and beyond
• Contribute to concept and schematic design stages, where new ideas are always shaped
• Be actively involved in internal design exercises, workshops, and explorations
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across architecture, landscape, exhibition, and more
• Participate in building creative design narratives rooted in context, research and story telling
• Be part of a studio that values experimentation, iteration, and critical thinking

Your Role

• Support the development of concept ideas, diagrams, and 3D studies
• Assist in preparing presentations, drawings, and visual outputs
• Contribute to model-making, research, and design exploration tasks
• Work closely with senior team members to learn and grow within live projects

What We’re Looking For

• Strong design thinking and conceptual ability
• Proficiency in 3D modelling software (Rhino, Revit, Sketch Up) with the ability to explore, iterate, and communicate design ideas through spatial studies
• Strong command of the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) to produce clear, compelling, and well-structured presentations
• Familiarity with AI-driven design and visualization tools (e.g. Midjourney, Krea, Comfy
  
  UI, Control Net) is a plus, particularly in enhancing workflows, ideation, and visual storytelling
• Ability to produce clear diagrams, compelling visuals, and well-structured presentations
• Understanding of context-driven design and material sensibility
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and ownership
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
