Summer Internship - Urban Designer and Landscape Architect

Internship Role

Your role:
As an intern in Gensler's UAE offices, you will join our creative office environment in a full‑time, paid internship. The start date is flexible, but you must be available for at least 3 months.

• Work on projects as a fully collaborative member of a design team.
• Participate in design charrettes and learning sessions focused on delivering successful projects for our clients.
• Engage in hands‑on learning, educational sessions, mentorship, lunch & learn sessions, in‑house training, and vendor visits.
• Experience the firm's culture and attend events and learning opportunities that support your professional licensure.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Architecture.
• Completed the third year of an undergraduate program or the first year of a graduate program.
• Will return to the program after the internship and graduate within one year.
• Submit an online portfolio (PDF format) that demonstrates design process and innovative solutions (2‑4 samples).
• Experience using Revit (required) and, optionally, AutoCAD and/or BIM modeling software.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• 3D rendering skills (Sketch Up, 3dsMax, or other modeling software).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Hand sketching ability is a plus.

Full‑time paid internship. Flexible start date within a minimum three‑month duration. Mentorship and professional development opportunities including vendor visits and training sessions.
