Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and translate them into workable drafting solutions.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Prepare layout designs for construction projects including dimensions, materials and construction methods.
- A diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in drafting within the construction or manufacturing industries is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Solid Works, is a must for creating accurate and detailed drawings.
- Certification from recognized professional bodies, such as the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA), is highly valued.
