We are seeking a skilled and passionate Landscape Architect to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating creative, functional, and sustainable outdoor spaces, including residential, commercial, and public projects. You will work closely with clients, urban planners, architects, and contractors to design and execute landscape solutions that enhance the built environment.
Key Responsibilities- Landscape Design:
Develop innovative and sustainable landscape designs for a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and public spaces. - Site Analysis:
Conduct thorough site evaluations and assessments considering environmental factors, topography, climate, and client preferences. - Project Management:
Oversee the implementation of landscape projects from concept to completion, ensuring all phases execute efficiently and according to plan. - Collaboration:
Work closely with architects, urban planners, and engineers to integrate landscape designs seamlessly into overall architectural plans. - Sustainable Design:
Incorporate eco‑friendly practices and sustainable materials into landscape designs to minimize environmental impact. - Client Interaction:
Meet with clients to understand their vision, provide updates and presentations to ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. - Team Leadership:
Grow, mentor, and manage a team of landscapers, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure high‑quality execution of landscape projects. - Team Development:
Identify and nurture the potential of junior landscapers, fostering a collaborative team environment that promotes continuous learning and development. - Quality Control:
Monitor the quality of work, ensuring all landscape features meet design standards and comply with regulations. - Budget Management:
Ensure all projects remain within budget, identifying cost‑effective solutions while maintaining design integrity. - Site Supervision:
Oversee construction and installation of landscape elements, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure proper execution of designs. - Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable practices in landscape architecture.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, preferably with projects in the UAE or similar climates.
- Proficiency in landscape design software (AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Suite, and GIS) and 3D modeling tools.
- Strong knowledge of landscape materials, plant species, irrigation systems, and sustainable design practices.
- Experience with project management and coordination with clients and contractors.
- Strong creative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of local regulations and building codes in the UAE.
