Student Internship - Architecture and Interior Design

Internship Role

You will join our creative office environment in Gensler’s UAE offices as a full‑time, paid intern. You must be available for at least 3months.

• Work on projects as a collaborative member of a design team.
• Participate in design charrettes and learning sessions focused on delivering successful projects to clients.
• Attend educational sessions and mentorship opportunities, including lunch & learn sessions, in‑house training, and vendor visits.
• Engage with the firm’s culture, office community events, and learning opportunities supporting professional licensure efforts.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Completed third year of an undergraduate program or first year of a graduate program.
• Will return to the program after the internship and graduate within one year.
• Submit an online portfolio (PDF) with 2–4 work samples demonstrating design process and innovative design solutions.
• Experience using Revit required; proficiency in AutoCAD or other BIM modeling software a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and 3D rendering software (Sketch Up, 3dsMax or other).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Hand‑sketching ability a plus.
