Senior Urban Designer

Lead the planning, design, and delivery of high‑quality urban environments at AECOM.

• Lead urban design projects from concept through detailed design and implementation.
• Develop innovative masterplans, public realm strategies, and urban frameworks.
• Ensure design excellence aligned with sustainability, livability, and client objectives.
• Provide design direction and mentorship to junior designers and wider project teams.
• Translate strategic visions into practical, deliverable urban design proposals.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, site analysis, and development strategies.
• Prepare design guidelines, codes, and planning documentation.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and government authorities.
• Present design concepts and proposals to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and pitches.
• Work closely with architects, planners, engineers, landscape architects, and other disciplines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Contribute to integrated design solutions across mixed‑use developments.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant experience in urban design or master planning.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale, complex urban projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept design, master planning, and built work.
• Experience working in international or multidisciplinary environments is preferred.
