Estimator, Design & Architecture, Engineering Design & Technologists

We are a furniture company primarily selling office furniture, but also ergonomic tools, hospitality, education and healthcare furniture. We are looking for a furniture estimator to be part of our team based out of our new showroom in Al Quoz 1.

• Gain knowledge and understanding of all the products from our manufacturing partners and their value propositions.
• Support the sales team and design manager in the selection of products for projects, and the creation of spec sheets and presentations.
• Analyse drawings and other documents issued by the client and prepare accurate BOQ's.
• Coordinate with the client on all questions or clarifications during the bidding process.
• Obtain accurate quotes for materials, shipping and delivery & installation costs.
• Prepare, issue, receive and review supplier proposals and pricing.
• Identify labour, material and time requirements.
• Attend technical meetings to gather required information.
• Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Keep track of the project budget.
• Creation and oversight of project schedule.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process.
• Work as part of a team to deliver great and profitable projects.
• Other estimating duties as required.

• 1 - 3 years' of estimation experience required, preferably in the interiors field.
• Must be fluent in Tagalog
• Relevant education background preferred
• Familiarity with Autocad and the ability to read plans
• Skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Project & Outlook
