Consultant Obstetrician; Native Mandarin Speaker

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Obstetrician of Chinese background
, who is a native Mandarin speaker
, to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. This role is ideal for a consultant dedicated to providing high-quality, culturally sensitive obstetric care to a growing Mandarin‑speaking patient population, while working within a multidisciplinary clinical team.

• Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
• Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies in line with international best practices
• Perform obstetric procedures and deliveries, including operative deliveries and cesarean sections
• Conduct outpatient obstetric clinics and inpatient rounds
• Communicate effectively with patients and families in Mandarin and English
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists, midwives, anesthetists, and nursing teams
• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with DHA regulations
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives

• Specialist/Consultant qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure (or currently licensed)
• Native-level Mandarin fluency (essential); professional English required
• Proven experience as a Consultant Obstetrician
• Strong clinical, surgical, and decision-making skills

• Experience serving international or expatriate patient populations
• Culturally sensitive and patient-centered approach to care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
