Search Plus HR is excited to present an opportunity for a talented Consultant in Interventional Radiology to join our esteemed healthcare consulting team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional committed to advancing patient care through innovative, minimally invasive procedures. You will play a crucial role in employing advanced imaging technologies to diagnose and treat various medical conditions effectively.

As a Consultant in Interventional Radiology, you will be responsible for performing a broad array of procedures, including angiography, stent placements, and other image-guided techniques. Your expertise will be fundamental in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives tailored and comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures using advanced imaging guidance.
  • Assess and interpret patient medical histories and imaging studies to create individualized treatment protocols.
  • Coordinate with fellow healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient interactions to meet regulatory and clinical standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in interventional radiology to enhance practice and improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices to protect both patients and staff.
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with an active state medical license.
  • Board certification in interventional radiology is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
  • Strong background in imaging modalities and interventional techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Detail-oriented and organized to ensure precise documentation and compliance with medical standards.
  • Able to manage high-pressure situations and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical medical practices.
