As a Consultant in Interventional Radiology, you will be responsible for performing a broad array of procedures, including angiography, stent placements, and other image-guided techniques. Your expertise will be fundamental in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives tailored and comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures using advanced imaging guidance.
- Assess and interpret patient medical histories and imaging studies to create individualized treatment protocols.
- Coordinate with fellow healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient interactions to meet regulatory and clinical standards.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in interventional radiology to enhance practice and improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices to protect both patients and staff.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with an active state medical license.
- Board certification in interventional radiology is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
- Strong background in imaging modalities and interventional techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Detail-oriented and organized to ensure precise documentation and compliance with medical standards.
- Able to manage high-pressure situations and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
