Search Plus HR is seeking a dedicated Junior Specialist Oncologist to join a Government Health Care Facility as part of our growing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to kick-start your career in oncology while providing vital care and support to patients diagnosed with cancer.

As a Junior Specialist Oncologist, you will work closely with experienced oncologists and healthcare professionals in a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development. You will participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care while learning the intricacies of oncology practice in a government healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in conducting patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and physical examinations under the supervision of senior oncologists.
  • Participate in the ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies, to contribute to accurate cancer diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Monitor and support patients throughout their treatment journeys, addressing concerns and providing education on procedures and potential side effects.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and contribute to coordinated care efforts.
  • Participate in educational opportunities, training sessions, and clinical research initiatives to enhance your knowledge and skills in oncology.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree and completion of a residency in oncology or a related field.
  • A strong interest in oncology, with a commitment to practicing in a government healthcare environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions and teamwork.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while being able to manage individual patient cases.
