Key Responsibilities:- Assist and perform surgical procedures under the supervision of senior consultants and surgeons.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and participate in developing patient care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Participate in patient consultations, explaining procedures and expected outcomes.
- Engage in continuous learning by attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
- Contribute to clinical research projects and quality improvement initiatives.
- Medical degree (MD) with completion of a residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery or related field.
- Eligibility for board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Strong foundational knowledge in surgical principles and cardiothoracic disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Dedication to continuous professional development and eagerness to learn from experienced colleagues.
- Prior clinical experience or internships in cardiac or thoracic surgery is preferred.
