This position is ideal for an experienced neurologist looking to make a significant impact in public health by diagnosing and treating various neurological conditions within a dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert neurological consultations, overseeing patient care, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. Your work will involve managing conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and dementia, while also engaging in collaborative efforts with other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed neurological examinations and assess patients’ medical histories.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, including MRI, CT scans, and EEGs.
- Lead the development of individualized treatment strategies for a wide range of neurological disorders.
- Supervise and mentor junior neurologists and healthcare professionals.
- Engage in community outreach and educational programs to enhance public awareness of neurological health issues.
- Maintain electronic health records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Participate in research initiatives aimed at advancing neurology practices and treatments.
- Medical degree with specialization in Neurology and a valid professional license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical neurology setting, preferably within a government or public health institution.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing complex neurological disorders.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and regulatory requirements.
- Commitment to continuous education and staying abreast with the latest advancements in neurology.
