American Hospital Dubai is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our multidisciplinary pediatric team. The role focuses on delivering advanced respiratory care to infants, children, and adolescents while contributing to clinical excellence, patient safety, and service development within a leading international healthcare environment.

About the Role

The role focuses on delivering advanced respiratory care to infants, children, and adolescents while contributing to clinical excellence, patient safety, and service development within a leading international healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric respiratory conditions including asthma, chronic lung disease, sleep-related breathing disorders, and complex pulmonary cases.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function testing and related diagnostic procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with NICU, PICU, Pediatric ER, and allied health teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in on-call coverage as per departmental requirements.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and clinical education programs.
Qualifications
  • UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board in Pediatric Pulmonology (mandatory).
  • Consultant-level experience in a reputable healthcare setting.
  • DHA License or eligibility preferred.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
