Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon - Government Healthcare Facility

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and performing surgeries on patients with musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will be essential in enhancing patient health outcomes and ensuring high standards of care within the facility.

You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals and support staff to deliver comprehensive orthopedic care, contribute to community health initiatives, and engage in continuous professional development.

• Conduct detailed assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients.
• Perform surgical procedures including joint replacements, arthroscopies, and complex fracture repairs.
• Provide pre-and post-operative care and rehabilitation guidance to patients.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in community health programs and initiatives to promote orthopedic health.
• Engage in research and quality improvement activities to further enhance service delivery.

• Proven experience as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, particularly in a government or public healthcare setting
• Strong surgical skills and experience with a wide range of orthopedic procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
