We are seeking a clinician with strong experience in diagnosing and managing pediatric eye conditions, squint disorders, amblyopia, refractive conditions, and pediatric visual development.

As a Specialist Pediatric Ophthalmologist, you will provide specialist clinical care for infants, children, and adolescents while supporting early diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of pediatric eye conditions.
You will work closely with families, paediatricians, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal visual development and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology consultations.
- Diagnose and manage pediatric eye disorders.
- Assess and manage strabismus (squint) disorders.
- Diagnose and treat amblyopia.
- Perform pediatric vision assessments.
- Manage refractive errors and visual development concerns.
- Provide ongoing follow-up and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with paediatricians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate parents and caregivers regarding treatment plans and visual development.
- Maintain accurate DHA-compliant clinical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement and continuing medical education activities.
- DHA, DOH (HAAD), or MOH Licensed Specialist Pediatric Ophthalmologist.
- Recognised specialist qualification in Ophthalmology.
- Fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Ophthalmology preferred.
- Previous UAE experience highly desirable.
- Strong outpatient pediatric ophthalmology experience.
