Currently, we are searching for a dynamic and passionate Swim Coach and/or PE Teacher to join our highly accomplished secondary department. We invite applications from both qualified PE teachers and swim coaches who meet the criteria for this role.

Specialism in Swimming

Experience in leading Swim Squads is essential.

Coaching Excellence & ECA Provision
  • Act as a strong, visible coach across the Primary and Secondary swimming ECA schedules.
  • Ensure consistent standards, high‑quality delivery, and aligned coaching methods across all age groups.
  • Support staff and coaches in delivering age‑appropriate and engaging swimming sessions.
Competitive Opportunities
  • Provide a broad and challenging competitive calendar for students, including DASSA, DSG, Dubai 7s, BSME, WSG, and additional fixtures.
  • Organise and lead annual international swimming tours and trips.
Performance Pathway Development
  • Play a central role in nurturing Performance Squad swimmers through focused training and high‑performance standards.
  • Work closely with the Strength & Conditioning Lead to support athlete development and progression.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with all stakeholders, including DOS, HoPE, SLT, Staff, Parent Body, and Students.
  • Build strong relationships within the school community to enhance engagement, participation, and programme reputation.
Person Profile
  • Specialism in Swimming and experience in leading on Swim Squads is essential.
  • Willingness to take Water Polo and Aquathlon Squads is essential.
  • Being able to offer coaching expertise in other sports such as Girls Rugby, Football, Basketball, Netball, Volleyball or Athletics would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Passionate about developing young athletes across all age groups.
  • Ability to inspire teams, build community, and elevate standards.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Swimming and Head of PE in continuing to drive forward both the Curriculum Swim programme.

  • Submit a covering letter of no more than two A4 pages.
  • Provide at least three referees’ names, telephone numbers (with international dialing codes), and email addresses. One must be a current employer.
  • The closing date for all applications is Friday, 9th January 2026 at 10h00 UAE time.
  • Applications will be assessed in order of receipt and interviews may occur at any stage after applications are received. We reserve the right to appoint before the closing date and therefore invite interested candidates to apply as soon as possible.
  • Once initial interviews are concluded, arrangements will be made individually with those candidates who will proceed to the second round of interviews.
  • A demonstration lesson will be required.
