We are searching for a dynamic, hardworking and forward‑thinking practitioner who possesses the skills, passion and creativity to lead an inclusive yet high‑performing English department across the secondary school. Alongside a team of passionate and innovative English specialists, the successful candidate will have a high level of autonomy to ensure English has a significant presence within our school community. Candidates should have relevant leadership experience and a proven record of outstanding practice, a commitment to helping students achieve their maximum potential, and experience delivering English Literature at A Level.

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 4 years teaching experience, including at A Level. They will also have an appropriate teaching degree and Qualified Teacher Status.
