About the roleYou will be providing personalised and specialist support on a 1:1 and small‑group basis with primary students.
The ideal candidateTo be considered for this position, you must have:
- experience of providing core subject support to primary aged students
- experience of supporting students with special educational needs or learning difficulties through the planning and delivery of small group and 1:1 intervention sessions
- experience of supporting students with specific learning difficulties including dyslexia and dyscalculia, as well as ADHD
- previous and relevant experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or primary teacher
- experience of delivering a variety of specialist SEND interventions e.g. SNIP and Nessy
- previous experience of working within the British curriculum across primary level
- relevant qualifications including specialist SEND qualifications and training
- a secure knowledge of online teaching platforms including MS Teams, Zoom and Seesaw
- outstanding communication skills
- ability to manage time effectively to ensure all administrative tasks are completed
- drive for continuous professional development and further training
- a good rapport with young people
- a genuine passion for education
- excellent interpersonal skills
- a friendly, honest and professional manner
- strong English skills – spoken and written
