GEMS World Academy‑Dubai (GWA) is a private, co‑educational IB World School for PreK to Grade 12 students. Established in 2008 as a member of GEMS Education, the Academy is authorised to deliver the PYP, MYP, DP and CP programmes and is also accredited by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). We are now seeking an innovative PYP EAL Teacher to join our successful team from August 2026
.

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Primary
• Advanced qualifications are preferred but not essential
• A minimum of 3 years experience teaching Primary/EAL, ideally within an IB curriculum school, however this is not mandatory
• A strong understanding of the IB PYP framework and Approaches to Teaching is preferred
• A strong desire to continually improve practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for students
• The experience, personality and educational philosophy that aligns with a leading IB World School like GEMS World Academy
