Position: Visiting / Part-Time Faculty – Strategic Management & Leadership
College: College of Business Administration (AACSB Accredited)
University: American University in the Emirates (AUE)

The American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking qualified and highly motivated Visiting / Part-Time Faculty Members specializing in Strategic Management and Leadership to teach undergraduate courses for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate demonstrates academic excellence, strong research engagement, and a commitment to high-quality teaching within an AACSB-accredited business college.
Faculty may be assigned courses in the following specializations:
- Organizational Creativity
- Leadership
- Strategic Management
- Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Leadership from:
- A university in the United States
, or - An internationally recognized university accredited by a U.S. accreditation body
- A university in the United States
- A minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant field
- Minimum 3 Scopus-indexed publications within the last five (5) years
- Preferred: Academic background or teaching experience in an AACSB-accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or professional experience in an internationally accredited university
- Demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level
- Required:
Higher education teaching experience in a U.S.
-accredited university environment
- Experience in curriculum development and program review
- Active research agenda and scholarly contributions
- Proficiency in integrating digital and web-based technologies into teaching
- Strong presentation, instructional, and communication skills
- Commitment to academic service, student development, and continuous professional growth
- Strong command of English (Arabic required only for courses taught in Arabic)
- Deliver high-quality, research-informed instruction
- Utilize modern pedagogical methods that promote active learning
- Prepare course materials, assessments, and learning resources
- Manage classroom activities effectively
- Maintain academic discipline and support student engagement
- Conduct fair, transparent, and outcome-based evaluation of student performance
- Provide clear grading criteria and continuous feedback
- Ensure assessments align with course learning outcomes
- Participate in curriculum review and enhancement efforts
- Ensure the curriculum remains current, rigorous, and industry-relevant
- Engage in ongoing research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Contribute to the academic reputation and mission of the university
- Participate in workshops, training sessions, and academic development programs
- Provide academic guidance and support to students regarding program requirements and career planning
- Take part in committee work, accreditation tasks, recruitment activities, and community engagement initiatives
