Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in college counseling or career guidance, preferably within an international school setting.
- Strong knowledge of university admission processes worldwide, especially for IB DP students.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, faculty, and external institutions.
- Ability to provide personalized advice tailored to individual student needs.
- Familiarity with career assessment tools and resources.
- Proficient organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to fostering student‑centered support that empowers learners in their decision‑making process.
- Respect for cultural diversity within the school community.
- A proactive approach towards continuous professional development in counseling practices.
- Empathy, patience, and strong ethical standards when handling sensitive information related to student choices.
- Collaborative mindset working closely with teachers, administrators, families, and external partners.
