A private European family based in Emirates Hills, Dubai, is seeking an experienced and engaging Daily Homeschool Tutor to support the education of a younger teen child

This is a structured, part-time role focused on academic support, reinforcement of learning and confidence-building within a calm private household environment. The Tutor will work closely with the child on a daily basis, supporting core subjects and tailoring lessons to suit individual learning styles and needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children across a range of ages and abilities, including some exposure to learning difficulties. A patient, encouraging and adaptable approach is essential, alongside the ability to maintain clear structure and positive boundaries.

Key responsibilities include delivering daily educational support aligned with age-appropriate curricula, assisting with homeschooling schedules and assignments, and reinforcing core subjects such as English, mathematics and general studies. You will adapt teaching methods to suit the child, providing additional support where required and helping to build confidence, focus and independent learning skills.

The role also involves monitoring progress, identifying areas where extra support is needed, and communicating clearly with the parents regarding development, challenges and achievements. Lessons should be engaging, well-paced and delivered in a calm, positive manner.

This is not a classroom setting but a private home environment, so discretion, professionalism and flexibility are essential. The Tutor should be organised, reliable and comfortable working as part of a wider household team.

• Proven experience as a tutor, teacher or homeschool educator
• Experience supporting children aged 13 upwards
• Some experience working with learning difficulties or additional learning needs
• Strong grounding in core academic subjects
• Patient, structured and encouraging teaching style
• Ability to adapt lessons to different ages and learning styles
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional, discreet and reliable
• Relevant teaching or education qualifications preferred but not essential
