Overview

• To ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information
• To empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information
• To instill a love of learning in all students and ensure equitable access to information
• To collaborate with classroom teachers
• To provide the leadership and expertise necessary to ensure that the school library program is aligned with the mission and vision of the school

• Must possess a Bachelors Degree in any related field of study
• A minimum of two years experience
• UAE work related experience is an advantage
• A compassionate and patient individual with an ability to educate and motivate students of all ages and aptitude to collaborate with teachers and other staff
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional personal presentation
• Good attention to details
• Excellent organisational skills
• Able to work on own initiative
• Able to work in busy multicultural environment
