Teaching Assistant

Overview

A Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers to provide valuable assistance in the classroom, contributing to the overall educational experience for students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and eager to support student learning and development.

• Classroom Support:
  Assist teachers in the preparation and organization of instructional materials and resources. Support classroom activities and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Student Assistance:
  Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students, reinforcing lessons and offering additional support. Assist with student assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Behavior Management:
  Support teachers in managing classroom behavior and fostering a respectful and inclusive atmosphere. Assist in implementing strategies for positive student conduct.
• Supervision:
  Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and other designated times. Monitor student behavior and safety during non-instructional periods.
• Communication:
  Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents regarding student progress and any concerns. Collaborate with teachers to address the individual needs of students.
• Resource Management:
  Assist in the maintenance and organization of classroom materials, equipment, and resources. Prepare and set up equipment for classroom activities.
• Professional Development:
  Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Attend training sessions and workshops as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or coursework in education is a plus.

• 2-3 years of experience with atleast 2 years of experience in relevant field
