The Art Teacher will play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive and innovative art education program, leveraging state-of-the-art facilities and industry partnerships to enhance student learning. The curriculum emphasizes key areas such as fine arts, including drawing, painting, and sculpture; digital and media arts, encompassing graphic design, photography, and animation; contemporary and experimental art, focusing on mixed media and installation work;

and illustration and visual storytelling, covering comic art and concept design. With access to cutting-edge resources and collaborations with leading galleries, design firms, and creative institutions, the Art Teacher will integrate traditional techniques with emerging technologies, ensuring students develop both foundational skills and forward-thinking artistic perspectives. Additionally, the role will involve facilitating workshops, coordinating artist residencies, and guiding students in hands-on projects that reflect contemporary artistic practices and industry trends.

• Deliver a comprehensive and innovative art education programme that leverages state-of-the-art facilities and partnerships.
• Integrate traditional techniques with emerging technologies to develop foundational skills and forward-thinking artistic perspectives.
• Facilitate workshops, coordinate artist residencies, and guide students in hands-on projects reflecting contemporary practices and industry trends.

• Hold a BEd or Bachelors degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
• A Master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Proven experience teaching Art to KS4/KS5 or equivalent
• Willingness to collaborate and share outstanding practice
• Growth mindset, reflective and solution-focused
• Creative and enthusiastic in teaching
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
• Proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching
