Teaching Load: 6 credit hours per academic semester

The faculty member will be responsible for providing students with professional expertise in teaching, assessing student work, academic advising, participating in administrative and committee activities, professional service, and community engagement.

• Ph.D. in Public Relations or a related field from:
  • An accredited university in the United States, or
  • A recognized university accredited by an American accreditation body.
• Applicants must have completed a Master’s degree from an internationally accredited university by the time of recruitment.
• Minimum 18 credit hours of graduate studies in the required field.
• WES equivalency required if the degree was not issued in the United States.
• Publications: Minimum of three (3) Scopus-indexed articles or five (5) peer-reviewed articles in the past five years.
• UAE Ministry of Education equivalency required.

• Minimum 2 years of teaching or professional experience in an internationally accredited university.
• Proven record of excellence in baccalaureate and graduate program teaching.
• Experience in higher education or teaching at an accredited university in the United States is preferred.

• Curriculum development and review.
• Record of professional accomplishment including peer-reviewed publications.
• Active research program and interest in collaboration with other faculty.
• Ability to integrate web-based and digital technologies in teaching.
• Willingness to provide service to the University and College.
• Excellent proficiency and communication skills in English for teaching English-medium courses.

• Deliver research- and practice-driven teaching.
• Adapt to the latest pedagogical techniques that stimulate student inquiry.
• Facilitate skill and competency development through engaging teaching methods and appropriate assessments.

• Effectively manage instructional processes to ensure quality learning outcomes.

• Evaluate student performance and grading fairly and transparently.
• Provide clear assessment criteria aligned with course content and learning outcomes.
• Set expectations for students and avoid cognitive bias.

• Contribute to regular curriculum review and enhancement.

• Ensure currency and relevance of theories and practices.
• Maintain intellectual rigor appropriate to the program level.

• Present increasingly complex theories, principles, and practices.
• Facilitate progressive levels of analysis and competency development.
• Ensure practical application of theories and principles.

• Pursue the latest academic techniques, professional certifications, and technological developments.
• Participate in in-campus and external workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance skills and leadership development.
