GEMS World Academy‑Dubai (GWA) is a private, co‑educational IB World School serving Pre‑K through Grade 12. Established in 2008, the Academy delivers the PYP, MYP, DP and CP programmes and is accredited by the Council of International Schools and NEASC. The Music Department has transformed student outcomes and inspired a love of learning through strong subject knowledge, forward‑thinking data use and a supportive environment. We are seeking an innovative MYP/DP Music Teacher to join our team starting in August 2026
.

• Bachelor of Education or a related degree with a teaching qualification such as PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent Music specialism.
• At least three years of secondary/high‑school music teaching experience; IB curriculum experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of the IB MYP/DP framework and approaches to teaching.
• Commitment to the IB philosophy, Learner Profile values, and a genuine passion for working with a culturally diverse, non‑selective student body.
• Desire to continually improve practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
• Alignment with the ethos and educational philosophy of a leading IB World School.
• Availability from August 2026.
