This is a full-time on-site position for a Primary and Lower KS3 Art and Design Specialist Teacher and Subject Lead starting in August 2026. The Specialist Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging art and design lessons to primary and lower KS3 students, fostering creativity and expression through various artistic mediums, and supporting students in developing their artistic skills and knowledge.
The successful candidate will have a graduate teaching qualification in the required area and be able to inspire students with a creative flair and innovative approach to learning. The Art Specialist will be adept at working witha variety of mediums and be able to support students in creating finished products through a design thinking process, ready for exhibitions and displays. English National Curriculum experience will be a must for this position.
- Experience in teaching art and design to primary and lower KS3 students
- Proficiency in creating innovative and interactive art lessons
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire creativity and artistic expression in students
- Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Experience in an international school environment is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field
- Teaching qualification is required
