We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to teach and inspire students in developing strong mathematical skills. The ideal candidate will design engaging lessons, assess student performance, and foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured mathematics lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
- Teach mathematical concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced topics (depending on grade level).
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources, including technology, to enhance learning.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress through tests, assignments, and examinations.
- Provide additional support and tutoring for students needing extra help.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that motivates students.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in line with school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessments, and academic initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress.
- Participate in professional development activities, school events, and extracurricular programs.
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification (B.Ed. or equivalent).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in mathematics.
- Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to enjoy learning mathematics.
- Familiarity with educational technology and e-learning tools is an advantage.
- Classroom-based teaching role.
- Participation in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
