SummaryWe are seeking an Inclusion Teacher - with experience of running alternative provision to join our team in August 2026. The successful candidate must have a Special Educational Needs (SEN) qualification and relevant experience in the field. Additionally, the candidate must be a qualified teacher with a degree in a related field.
Job Responsibilities- Collaborate with school staff to support the inclusion of students with special educational needs in mainstream classrooms.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Provide support and guidance to teachers on implementing inclusive practices in the classroom.
- Monitor the progress of students with SEN and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external specialists to ensure the best outcomes for students with SEN.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in inclusive education and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Special Educational Needs (SEN) qualification is mandatory.
- Qualified teacher with experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
