Secondary French Teacher - Head of MFL

We are looking for a dedicated French Teacher to take on the role of Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) in our school. As the Head of MFL, you will oversee the MFL department and ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for teaching French to students.
• Lead and manage the MFL department, including supervising and guiding other language teachers.
• Coordinate with the departments to ensure a cohesive approach to language teaching.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to improve their language skills.
• Organize cultural events and activities to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of MFL and various cultures.

• Bachelor's degree in French language is essential. Master's degree is a plus. Teaching qualification essential.
• Proven experience as a French Teacher, as well as in a leadership or head of department role.
• Strong understanding of language teaching methodologies and curriculum development.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluency in French language.
• Ability to inspire and motivate both students and fellow teachers.
