Head of Design Technology

From September 2026 we are looking to appoint an outstanding Head of Design Technology to join the College.

The successful candidate will lead an exceptional department which is both extremely popular and effective. In 2025 the results in GCSE were outstanding, with 100% of students receiving 9-4 (A*-C) grades. The results were equally impressive with A Level – 92% of students receiving A*-C grades.

The opportunities which Design Technology present for students is central to the philosophy of the school. As a result, this appointment is crucial to the continued development of Jumeirah College.

The successful applicant will be required to have the following:

• A
  
  B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.
• At least 3 years’ experience of the National Curriculum for England.
• Experience teaching Design Technology up to A-Level.
