Job Purpose

As part of Emirates Airline’s continued growth, we are seeking experienced aviation professionals to join our Flight Training department in non‑flying, ground‑based roles as Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE). This position is responsible for conducting simulator pilot checks, licensing tests, instructor assessments of competence validations (AOC) and EBT training programmes as required by the regulator and in line with company policies and procedures.

• Conduct FSTD (Flight Simulator Training Device) type rating training and ground school in line with company procedures and requirements.
• Conduct recency training as required by the company in accordance with the approved syllabus.
• Conduct Fixed Base and Full Flight Simulator transition training.
• Conduct instructor and examiner simulator training.
• Complete and submit accurate detailed reports and assessments of pilots under instruction in accordance with company guidance and policy via the existing electronic reporting system.
• Recommend additional or remedial training for trainee pilots who are not progressing at an acceptable rate as per expected performance standards.
• Provide recommendations to training management for any changes that may improve efficiency, safety, quality of training and standardise procedures and teaching techniques.
• Support with ad‑hoc projects, course development and other tasks as required.

• Hold or have held an ATPL Airline Transport Pilot License.
• Minimum 1500 hours flight time as a pilot on a multipilot aeroplane.
• Experience Minimum 6 months as an active TRI/SFI.
• Valid SFI/TRI certificate for applicable type.
• Advanced communication and leadership skills.

Annual basic salary of up to AED 423,360 (USD 115,265).
