Medical Academic Positions

Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU;(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) is part of Dubai Health (DH). DH is an integrated academic health system established to elevate the standard of care and to advance health for humanity. It is comprised of 6 hospitals, 26 ambulatory health centres, 20 medical fitness centres, MBRU and Al Jalila Research Foundation. MBRU seeks to develop, attract, and retain exceptional medical education, clinical and research talent, and provide a supportive environment for scientific and clinical research that improves health. MBRU offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees through its colleges. The College of Medicine offers an innovative 6–year MD program, open to all nationalities. The College of Medicine at MBRU is soliciting applications for positions at all academic ranks in Anatomy, Biostatistics, Family Medicine, and Emergency Medicine. At assistant and associate professor ranks in Internal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology, to join the faculty delivering the MD and research programs.

Faculty members will be working in an academic and healthcare environment located in the heart of Dubai, a major travel hub with direct flight connections to most major cities.

Our strategic partner, Al Jalila Foundation facilitates access to research grants and research facilities in several disciplines. We also have clinical affiliation agreements in the region with Mediclinic Middle East, Kings Hospital Dubai, and Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital where our faculty practice and our students get their clinical training.

Successful candidates must hold Certificate of Completion of Training (CTT) [UK] or Board Certification [e.g. US, Canada, Australia]; or PhD from a recognized institution in a relevant subject; or equivalent.

It is also desirable for successful candidates to have:

• Academic experience either as a medical educator and /or a researcher at a recognized university (at least five years for Associate Professor position and at least 10 years for Full Professor position)
• Significant experience in undergraduate medical education includes the design, delivery and organization of good quality teaching and assessments.
• Proven independent research experience and track record in medical education.
