Job Description
We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Teacher of History for Jumeirah College, Dubai. This appointment is for September 2026 start.
The SchoolJumeirah College is a GEMS Premium Secondary School that delivers the National Curriculum for England, offering the full range of GCSE and A level courses. Our student body is a dynamic international community of over 1,600 students from more than 62 nationalities. In 2025, 99 % of GCSE results were 9–4, 67 % were grade 7–9, and at A level over 41 % of all grades were A*/A with over 90 % A*–C. These achievements enable our students to progress to leading universities worldwide, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, Stanford, Monash and Toronto.

Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in History or a related subject and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent, with exceptional subject knowledge.
- At least three years’ experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
- Experience teaching History at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
- A proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
- A mindset that believes all students have the potential for top performance, and a passion to enable them to achieve it.
- Experience that will contribute to our enriched curriculum programme.
- A commitment to the school's inclusive ethos and to supporting a diverse student community.
