The Student Affairs Officer plays a pivotal role in enhancing the non-academic student experience s role encompasses student support services, coordination of extracurricular activities, and enforcement of student policies and welfare programs. The Officer ensures alignment with KHDA/MOE standards while maintaining consistency with BMC’s internal policies and KSA headquarters’ directives, supporting students from admission through graduation.
Key Responsibilities Student Support & Welfare- Serve as the primary contact for students with non-academic concerns.
- Conduct student onboarding and orientation sessions.
- Provide guidance on student rights, responsibilities, and available support services.
- Refer students for counseling, upscale academic appeals and complaints as needed.
- Plan and coordinate student events, club activities, and awareness campaigns.
- Encourage participation in community outreach, cultural, and volunteering initiatives.
- Maintain an updated calendar of student activities in alignment with campus goals.
- Maintain and update records of student cases, behavioral incidents, and attendance warnings.
- Coordinate with academic, finance, IT, and other departments regarding student matters.
- Support KHDA documentation and compliance related to student services.
- Enforce student conduct codes and disciplinary procedures under supervision.
- Manage student requests (leaves, withdrawals, personal data changes) in line with policies.
- Ensure processes comply with UAE regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Communicate student trends and issues to branch leadership and KSA headquarters.
- Liaise with external vendors and community partners for student-related services.
- Support feedback collection and reporting for service improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or Business Administration.
- 1–3 years of experience in student services or administrative roles in higher education.
- Familiarity with KHDA regulations and UAE education landscape is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in event planning and student engagement.
- High emotional intelligence and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
