• Required Certificates: Teaching Credential/License

• Bachelor’s degree with a valid teaching certificate/license in content area and/or related field.
• A minimum of two years, of current, full-time related teaching experience.
• Teaching experience in an American curriculum school is preferred.
• IELTS or TOEFL for non-native teachers (6.5 for subjects taught in English & 7.5 for English subjects).
• Experience with current best practices, current teaching materials, and current instructional strategies as well as recent professional growth activities.

• Commitment to innovation in Teaching and Learning supporting initiatives, with a positive attitude and willingness to promote life‑long learning across The School.
• Focused instruction and assessment on student learning.
• Ability to work independently and safeguard confidential information.
• Proficient in IT for productivity purposes and as a tool to facilitate learning in the classroom.
• Awareness of current trends and developments in education.
• Commitment to the highest standards of professional practice and to the development of a school culture based on collaboration between principals, teachers, parents and students.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibits self‑motivation, high work standards and attention to detail.
