Training Manager – Engineering Vocation Training

Lead the academic function within a vocational training institute, ensuring industry‑relevant competency‑based program delivery and aligning training outcomes with employability standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of engineering programs within a vocational TVET framework.
  • Design, review, and continuously improve competency‑based curricula aligned with industry requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies, accreditation standards, and quality frameworks.
  • Drive student outcomes including skill proficiency, certifications, and employability.
  • Establish and strengthen industry partnerships for internships, on‑the‑job training (OJT), and placements.
  • Monitor faculty trainers’ performance and implement continuous professional development initiatives.
  • Implement robust academic quality assurance systems and assessment standards.
  • Support institutional growth through innovation in program offerings and delivery models.
Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Ph.D. preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in technical education or vocational training, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in TVET/skill‑based training environments strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to international or UAE‑based regulatory frameworks (e.g., KHDA) is an added advantage.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities within a training environment.
  • Deep understanding of competency‑based education and vocational training frameworks.
  • Expertise in curriculum development, assessments, and academic quality assurance.
  • Strong industry orientation with the ability to translate workforce needs into training programs.

  • Ability to drive student employability, industry engagement, and outcome‑based learning.
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution and operational oversight.
