Training Manager – Engineering Vocation Training
Lead the academic function within a vocational training institute, ensuring industry‑relevant competency‑based program delivery and aligning training outcomes with employability standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the delivery of engineering programs within a vocational TVET framework.
- Design, review, and continuously improve competency‑based curricula aligned with industry requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies, accreditation standards, and quality frameworks.
- Drive student outcomes including skill proficiency, certifications, and employability.
- Establish and strengthen industry partnerships for internships, on‑the‑job training (OJT), and placements.
- Monitor faculty trainers’ performance and implement continuous professional development initiatives.
- Implement robust academic quality assurance systems and assessment standards.
- Support institutional growth through innovation in program offerings and delivery models.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Ph.D. preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in technical education or vocational training, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in TVET/skill‑based training environments strongly preferred.
- Exposure to international or UAE‑based regulatory frameworks (e.g., KHDA) is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities within a training environment.
- Deep understanding of competency‑based education and vocational training frameworks.
- Expertise in curriculum development, assessments, and academic quality assurance.
- Strong industry orientation with the ability to translate workforce needs into training programs.
- Excellent communication, planning, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to drive student employability, industry engagement, and outcome‑based learning.
- Strategic mindset with strong execution and operational oversight.
