Head of Mathematics​/Lead Practitioner

Overview

We are looking for experienced teachers with a passion for supporting every child to achieve and develop. You will be able to teach students of all abilities and demonstrate a proven track record of securing outstanding student outcomes. As a lead practitioner, you should have knowledge and experience in planning rich, engaging and challenging learning experiences, a strong knowledge of assessment and its use in the classroom, and most importantly, a passion to stretch students to achieve their potential and beyond.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or similar, with a PGCE in Education and QTS or equivalent.
• At least two years of teaching experience in a reputable school.
• Experience in IB or GCSE subject‑specific teaching is desirable.
• Track record of outstanding student results.
• Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment and integrity.
• Inter-cultural awareness, well-developed communication skills and excitement to engage with students and parents.
• Proficient/advanced‑level English language skills.
• Ability to teach A Level/Further Maths or IBDP AA Higher Level would be highly beneficial.
