About the SchoolThis is a truly special opportunity to join an award‑winning premium early learning environment in the heart of Dubai. With a well‑established reputation for excellence, personalised attention and exceptionally high standards, this school offers young children aged approximately two to five years a richly integrated curriculum that goes far beyond conventional early years provision. Academic foundations in language, early literacy, phonics readiness, pre‑writing and numeracy sit alongside specialist programmes in languages, music, physical development, creative arts and social‑emotional learning – creating a warm, stimulating and genuinely holistic environment for the youngest learners.
Small group sizes ensure every child receives the individual attention they need to truly flourish, and the school’s proprietary teaching methodologies are thoughtfully designed to bring the very best out of each child at every stage of their early development.
This role is perfectly suited to a teacher who is as warm as they are capable – someone who understands instinctively that the early years are not just preparation for school, but a critically important stage of development in their own right. You will thrive here if you are nurturing yet structured, deeply knowledgeable about child development, and genuinely excited by the daily magic of watching very young children grow in confidence, curiosity and independence.
Teachers who are reflective, highly organised and open to working within an innovative and ambitious curriculum framework will find this an extraordinarily rewarding place to work.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent early childhood or education qualification preferred
- A valid teaching licence is essential – for example, a PGCE or a recognised US state teaching licence
- Minimum of five years’ experience working with young children aged approximately two to five years
- Experience across Preschool, Pre‑K, Nursery, Reception and/or early Kindergarten settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood development, classroom routines, child‑led and teacher‑guided learning, and age‑appropriate behaviour support
- Experience supporting children’s development in communication, early literacy, phonics readiness, pre‑writing, early numeracy, independence and social‑emotional skills
- Exceptional spoken and written English, with the ability to model high‑quality language for young learners consistently and naturally
- Ability to create warm, engaging and hands‑on learning experiences that build confidence, curiosity and independence in very young children
- Strong relationship‑building skills with children, parents and colleagues
- Ability to observe, document and track children’s progress effectively through daily observation and internal documentation
- Highly organised, flexible and reflective, with a genuine commitment to continuous professional development
- Openness to learning and implementing the school’s proprietary teaching methodologies and curriculum approach
- Professional presence suited to a premium early learning environment
- A thorough and current understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles, particularly as they apply to very young children in an international school setting
- The ability to recognise signs of concern and respond swiftly and appropriately in line with school policy
- Sound personal integrity, professional judgement and the ability to maintain clear and appropriate boundaries at all times
- A proactive commitment to creating environments where every child feels safe, secure and valued
- Full compliance with all school safeguarding, health, safety, hygiene and confidentiality policies
All appointments are subject to satisfactory background checks including references, proof of qualifications, identification verification and police checks, including overseas checks where applicable.
