Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Systems and Societies & MYP Science Teacher to join our team in August 2026. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching these subjects, fostering a love for science, and promoting environmental awareness among students.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Environmental Systems and Societies & MYP Science classes.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to learn and explore scientific concepts.
• Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Integrate real-world examples and current environmental issues into the curriculum to make learning relevant and impactful.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support the overall academic and personal growth of students.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Teaching certification and/or relevant teaching experience in Environmental Systems and Societies & MYP Science.
• Deep knowledge of environmental systems, sustainability, and scientific principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
