School Guidance Counselors work with students addressing their academic and developmental needs through both direct support and counseling programs.

Policies for safer recruitment are aligned with all accrediting bodies including local authorities’ decrees and mandates and The National bodies such as the Department for Education's "Keeping Children Safe in Education" recommendations, NEASC Safeguarding and Protection Standards of 2016. We expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. Successful applicants will be subject to various background checks including, receipt of satisfactory references, proof of relevant qualifications, identification, and police checks, including overseas checks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Counselling or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate about social working and results in non-technical language.
• Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
• The ability to use data effectively, to monitor and enhance student progress.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
