Teaching Associate (Provost Fellow) – Marketing

Grade: G6

Salary: AED 245,640 – 270,500 per annum + housing allowance (depending on experience)

FTE & Working Pattern: Full-time (1 FTE); 35 hours per week

Contract Type: Teaching and Scholarship

Department: Edinburgh Business School (EBS)

Location: Dubai Campus

Through the two‑year Provost Fellowship programme you will develop teaching, research and academic skills. The Fellow will be mentored by senior academics and will work collaboratively with the Marketing Department.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake teaching and assessment duties for undergraduate students.

Contribute to the content, design and delivery of the curriculum of courses.

Deliver online classes to students.

Support accreditation processes.

Provide pastoral support and refer students to additional services when required.

Keep up to date with the latest developments in research.

Build and conduct research in one or more of the school's research areas.

Identify and apply for research grants.

Work collaboratively with colleagues in the UK, other campuses and external networks.

Support Open Days and other student recruitment events.

Undertake continuous professional development (CPD) and participate in staff development activities.

Education and Qualifications

Essential

PhD or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
Bachelors degree from a recognised university.
Fluent verbal and written English, with experience working in culturally diverse teams.

Desirable

Member of a professional body.
Some experience delivering teaching to undergraduate students.
Associate member of the HEA.
Experience in maintaining and developing new links with industry.
