The roleWe are seeking an outstanding BTEC and Design Technology Specialist Teacher to join the team in August 2026. The successful candidate will teach one or more of the following subjects: BTEC Business, BTEC Engineering, BTEC Hospitality or Design Technology. Experience teaching the English National Curriculum and BTEC programmes is desirable.
Key responsibilities- Deliver exemplary teaching and learning across assigned BTEC and Design Technology subjects.
- Model the school values of Grow, Flourish and Succeed in all aspects of professional practice.
- Contribute actively to extra-curricular activities and the wider school community.
- Engage in continuous professional development and school improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor of Education or a bachelor's degree with PGCE.
- Experience teaching BTEC Business, BTEC Engineering, BTEC Hospitality or Design Technology.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding learning and teaching.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to classroom practice and wider school life.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students and parents.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students, with a UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check required.
