Adjunct Faculty - College of Arts and Creative Enterprises and Campus

The College of Arts and Creative Enterprisesseeks qualified candidates to teach as adjuncts in various programs in the college with new positions which are opening:
Art History, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Visual Art (Drawing & Painting, 3D modelling), Animation, Multimedia and interdisciplinary practices, with an appointment on the Abu Dhabi and Dubai campus starting Fall 2026.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate/s will make a valuable contribution to the development of the program in the College through forging strong relationships and liaising with the local industry, as well as support an integrated approach of the curriculum. The candidate/s will encourage students to consider their future careers within a local, regional, and international context and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to take up this challenge.

The College of Arts and Creative Enterprises offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with majors in Animation Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Visual Art.

It also offers a minor in Curatorial Studies, and a joint degree program,aBachelor of Science degree in Multimedia Design with the College of Communication and Media Sciences and the College of Technological Innovation.

The College of Arts and Creative Enterprises aims to prepare students to become creative leaders in the arts and related industries. Our mission is to provide student artists and designers with an opportunity to explore and develop their own creative ideas while contributing to national initiatives in the culture of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and initiatives of the college that will advocate innovative practices and research.

Applicants must have earned a terminal degree in the relevant field. (s) he successful applicant/s will have a record of excellent teaching, or 3 to 5 years of work experience that is, or can be recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education. Assignments are made on a semester to semester basis through a scheduling process.

Candidates should be flexible and able to teach a variety of courses in their discipline. Candidates with expertise in fabrication lab technology such as 3D printers and Laser Cutting machines are highly desirable, as well as proficient on relevant software in the various programs. Flexibility to work in both Emirates of Dubai and Abu Dhabi is desired.

• A proven record of excellence at baccalaureate-level teaching.
• Dedication to curricular innovation.
• A record of professional accomplishment appropriate to their rank.
• Substantial level of computer literacy and a good proficiency of usage of IT in education.
• Willingness to provide service to the College.

Applicants must have a valid UAE residence visa and will be required to provide a No Objection Letter from their sponsor, or employer in case of full-time employment. The same requirement applies to applicants with a golden visa.
